This is very nature and this water is too good. People are using for bath and wash their cloths. Kolkkalam is a agriculture place so kolkkalam also have thod . we are using it for agriculture, wash, bath, swim etc… the old condition of thod was very bad, but it was nature, even now it is changed thod is very beautiful, so the water is very clean. Most of our thod both side is belted with stone. So now it is very clean.

Basically kulams are very old theme are  very old theme which is using for agriculture. Now people also using to bath and swimming.
In kolkkalam very famous with kulams. We have 100 of kulams in our place. Some of our kulams is very famous because of this natural. Now we have  three more very big kulams. This is very useful to our people for agriculture, bath, swim, etc... Holidays peoples are coming from other place to swim here and we are happy when they are enjoying with this.
